Homemade Holiday Treats

Every year we find ourselves in the same situation.  We want to give something special to our friends, neighbors, coworkers and teachers for Christmas.  But since this list of recipients can be lengthy, the gift needs to be relatively inexpensive.  Here are some clever yet simple ideas that will help you spread some holiday cheer.
Homemade Christmas Presents

{clockwise, starting at top left:}
  • Star shaped sugar cookies look festive packaged in a clear gift bag and tied with a satin ribbon.
  • Gingerbread cookies fit neatly into round silver tins.  A felt cookie shaped tag is the perfect finishing touch.
  • Cinnamon twists look so elegant wrapped in a decorative cellophane bag and tied with a red ribbon.
  • Raspberry pinwheels display nicely in clear glass cracker jars.  Ribbon and a gift tag make the presentation complete.

    They are all so cute, I am actually baking ginger bread men this weekend with the kids but in the meantime I made lollipop cookies for them.
