Welcome Our New Contributors

Today we have some exciting news!  As Half Baked continues to grow, I wanted to find some new ways to bring you fresh and original content.  So… over the next few months we’ll be adding several new contributing writers!  They will be sharing new ideas, designs and recipes from their respective specialty, whether that be cake, cupcakes or baking in general.  Today, we’re announcing our first two contributors!  Please join me in welcoming Miso of Miso Bakes and Lauren of Crave.Indulge.Satisfy.

Miso - New Half Baked Contributor

Miso  is a talented and upcoming designer with a big passion for cakes.  We’ve had the pleasure of featuring some of her work in the past…. you may remember this stunning Summer Lemonade Cake!  Miso spends most of her time designing cakes for her portfolio, collaborating with friends in the creative industry, baking, blogging, and building new friendships with those who share the same passion and interest.  We are thrilled to welcome such a cake lover to Half Baked.  You can read more about Miso on her bio page HERE.

Lauren - New Half Baked Contributor

Lauren Kapeluck is a self-taught baker and lover of all things sugar… she is not opposed to eating cupcakes for breakfast!  Lauren became fascinated with cupcakes at an early age during weekend trips to a local bakery.  She believes you can master the art of cupcakes with three simple tools: an ice cream scoop, offset spatula and a large round piping tip. And of course lots of sprinkles!  We are thrilled to welcome this cupcake fanatic to Half Baked!  You can read more about Lauren on her bio page HERE.
