12 Cakes of Christmas!!

This is, by far, my favorite time of year.  The excitement, the buzz, the joy of the holiday season!  And tonight I’m happy to announce the return of The 12 Cakes of Christmas!!  This is the second year for this cake series and I am thrilled to see how it has grown and evolved over the last year.  Twelve days of festive holiday cake inspiration that will definitely leave you merry!  It’s 12 bakers baking…. it’s The 12 Cakes of Christmas! Ho, Ho, Ho!

This year for The 12 Cakes of Christmas, we’re turning the tables and exploring what inspires those who inspire us!  Have you ever wondered what inspires the talented bakers who appear on the pages of this blog?  Where do they turn for inspiration?  Well we’re about to find out!  Over the next month we’ll be oohing and aahing over 12 marvelous cakes, created especially for this cake series!  Each baker was given (pretty much) complete creative freedom.  They were asked to create a cake based on what personally inspires them.  Each design is beautifully different and there’s a little something for everyone.  Along the way we’ll also enjoy a few new DIY’s and some delicious recipes.  Plus a few surprises!

So let’s get started!!  The 12 Cakes of Christmas begins tomorrow!

This cake blog is all about inspiration.  Whether you’re a bride searching for your dream wedding cake.  Or a party planning mom hunting for the ideal Christmas cake.  A baker looking to keep your techniques and ideas creative and current.  Or just someone who is inspired by the talent of others and the joy of the holiday season.  I hope you find inspiration in each and every blog post.  Plus a heaping tablespoon of holiday cheer!
