**** WINNER UPDATE.  This giveaway is now closed.  Our lucky winner is… Elyse who said “Everything!  I would first love to make cookies and cakes with my daughter.” on December 10, 2012 at 4:45 pm.  Congratulations Elyse!  Please contact me by Thursday, December 20th to claim your prize.  Enjoy! ****

Now that we’re officially in the holiday spirit and The 12 Cakes of Christmas is well underway… I think it’s time for a little giveaway.  Don’t you?  We’ve partnered up with our friends at KitchenAid again to bring you another fabulous contest!  One that involves both giving and receiving.  This year you’ll be the ultimate baker and the ultimate gift giver!  Because one lucky reader will win a 5 quart KitchenAid Stand Mixer for you!  AND a 5-Speed KitchenAid Hand Blender for your best baking friend!!  It’s twice the prizes and twice the fun!  It’s twice the Ho, Ho, Ho!

Are you squealing as loud as I am?!  Seriously…. talk about an amazing prize!

I absolutely love my KitchenAid and use it for everything!  For 12 years now, my classic 4.5 quart mixer has seen me through thick and thin.   I cannot even begin to count the endless batches of cake batter and icing it has endured over the years.  Not to mention cookie dough, pizza dough… I could go on!  So I am quite thrilled for our soon-to-be winner of this gorgeous 5 Quart KitchenAid Stand Mixer!

And in the true spirit of the season… it is better to give than to receive!  Our lucky winner will be able to share this prize with their best baking buddy!

Whether that’s Mom, Aunt Carol, or your best friend!  It’s your gift to give!  It’s a 5-Speed KitchenAid Hand Blender!!  Stainless steel blades and five different attachments will have your best buddy blending, chopping and shredding with ease.  It can even froth milk for espresso drinks (now we’re really talking!).  Just think of your bestie happily frothing up a peppermint latte for you… as a way of saying thank you!  For sharing your amazing prize!  Oh what joy!

I’d whip up some dough and make my grandmothers Italian cookie dough! She made them every Christmas and now that she is passed this would be a blessing so that I could make these for my family as gifts!

The first thing I’d whip up is a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls just in time for Christmas morning. :) Good luck to you all and merry Christmas!

I would use it to help my business get off the ground. The more cupcakes and cakes i can make the more i can sell. The more i can sell the more my business grows. :)

I’d love to whip up some Cinnamon Buns, but to be honest, I’d just love the chance to whip up anything with it!

I am in the process of completing my PhD and have, for the most part, been banned from the kicthen :( , as I invariably get lost and spend hours baking and playing with different recipes! So I cant wait to have the time to play and bake wonderful sweet treats for friends and family again. I was hoping to treat myself to a KitchenAid as a completion pressie early next year, but if Santa beats me too it that would be wonderful! :) In particular Im hoping to try my hand at the enormous ‘Little and Friday’ doughnuts filled with gorgeous custard cream and raspberry jam! Yummy, sticky, sweet goodness!
