Miso: Contributing Writer

Hello, my name is Miso!
I am a twenty-something testing boundaries and seeing where a growing passion may lead.

Miso Bakes After receiving my BA in both Cognitive Science and Sociology, I went forth to pursue a longtime interest and dream of mine: baking. In late 2009, I received my Diplôme de Pâstisserie with Highest Honors from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts here in Los Angeles, California.Today, I spend most of my time designing cakes for my portfolio, collaborating with friends in the creative industry, baking, blogging, and building new friendships with those who share the same passion and interest.

Everyday, I learn, and everyday, I am humbled by the talent and creativity of individuals out there. I am no where near perfect and am actually a tad embarassed to call myself a baker or a cake designer for I believe I still have so much more to learn, grow, and perfect.

If anything, I hope my monthly posts will, at the least, serve as a source of entertainment at which we can laugh at, learn from, and grow together. All in all, welcome to my journey through the kitchen and through life!
