Real Party: Construction Birthday

December 16, 2009 by Carrie Sellman

Today’s post features a real birthday party that is just over the top fabulous.  One very talented woman is behind this amazing event.  Jessica Levitt is a dedicated mom, sewer, crafter, designer and blogger.  I think you’ll agree that she can add ‘exceptional party planner’ to her list of skills.  Just take a look at this construction themed bash she put together for her son who loves Bob the Builder.
Construction Birthday Party

Construction Birthday Party
Jessica sent out Digger Truck Invitations from TinyPrints but designed all other aspects of the party herself.   I love that the guests were greeted by construction barricades made from old sawhorses.  A custom dump truck logo was used through out the party on items such as the cupcakes, cups, napkins and even a coloring sheet.  Refreshments were served up on a food table decorated in brown, orange and yellow with nuts and bolts and clever little ‘dig in’ signs. Each child had their very own personalized hard hat and there was plenty of sand to get messy.

There are so many beautiful images of this modern construction birthday party, thanks to the talented photographer Christianne Ebel, that you’ll have to check back later today to see the rest!  So much more to come!

One of the cutest Construction theme parties I’ve seen. I love the introduction of the polka dots – makes it festive. The tools cookies are the best!

I love how it works for a Bob the Builder theme without being cheesy. The hard hats are my fav!

The results in the image below were achieved
by setting the Strength at 10 and clicking twice.

Spray tanning makes the skin golden brown, and not orange.
Of course, a fresh coconut cake is always a special treat at Christmastime, just
as using coconut in the favorite holiday fruit salad of the south, Ambrosia.

Take initiative and get the amount of customers you deserve.
You need to know which ones can rank, and what the competition is like for each
one. The last thing to consider in regards to the idea of seo tools is that there is an algorithm that
    is continually changing.

First off I would like to say wonderful blog! I had
a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you
don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.

I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my
ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems
like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?

    Many thanks!
