February 10, 2010 by Carrie Sellman

I spotted this party yesterday on Celebrations at Home and I could not resist sharing it as well.  Considering I was just saying how much I love the milk and cookies trend, its easy to see why I was smitten with this party.  And well, I’m not the only one loving this adorable first birthday bash.  It was recently a finalist in the Most Adorable Party Contest on Creative Hostess.  So let’s take a look at this delightful milk and cookies first birthday party, created by Anne Powers of A Party Style.

Anne just oozes talent! You can see that no detail is too small to focus her design eye upon. That makes the difference for me!

I have looked over this incredible post!
    I love it so much!!
My daughter has decided to do this for her babies first birthday and wants me to do the cake.
    did you use ganache?
and it looks higher than a regular two layer cake.
    We absolutely love it.
Also I would love toknow how you made the babies cake “cookie” and the cookies that sit on top of the big cake!
If you are willing to share i would love you know!
    If not I totally understand!
    Thanks for your wonderful blog!
You do a nice job….we will be followers!

Hi Shelley! We were honored to feature this party… but we can’t claim credit. Anne of A Party Style is the mastermind behind it all. She did make the cake and the cookies! Below is a link to her site… hope it helps!
