So it turns out that my husband does actually read Half Baked (and is pretty good at taking a hint). We celebrated Mother’s Day with a picnic lunch in the park. Fresh fruit, cheese, water crackers… even a crusty baguette and chocolate chip cookies from my favorite local bakery. Sadie enjoyed some tummy time and a few good books. It was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer first Mother’s Day. It was a lovely afternoon in the park with my family.
