Fab Cake: Plum & Golden Yellow

May 13, 2011 by Carrie Sellman

Today we have another fabulous cake for you from Pink Peach Cakes.  This lovely display was created for a winter wedding photo shoot but would completely work for a summer wedding as well.  The plum and golden yellow color combination is modern and fresh.  Coordinating single tier cakes add a bright contrast to create one gorgeous cake table….

Purple & Yellow Wedding Cake

Purple & Yellow Wedding Cake

I love that the main cake is fondant but the coordinating cakes are a rustic buttercream.  A mix of flirty white cake stands add to the whimsy of it all, accenting the flirty fondant flowers.  A picture perfect cake display in purple and yellow!  Yay for Pink Peach Cakes on this stunning design!

You can see more of this cake along with the entire wedding photo shoot HERE. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Not that anyone will read my comment, but I should mention that Chudleigh photo did the main shoot but I shot these images. Britt Chud would have much more beautiful images than these. 🙂

This is a beautiful cake but it is NOT fondant. If you look closely at the close up picture you will see it is buttercream. Very well done buttercream I might add. Stunning work! Great job! Love!
