8 Boo-tiful Bash Ideas

October 23, 2014 by Carrie Sellman

Halloween is just one week away!  But do not fret, we’ve got you covered with all sorts of fun ways to make your day super spook-tacular!  Of course, there’s oodles of recipes and cake tutorials in our Halloween Gallery — it’s filled with projects from the past and fresh new ideas from 2014.  And today I’ve partnered up with some of my favorite party girls to bring you another batch of Halloween ideas!  Sure to make this Halloween the best one yet.  It’s 8 Ways to Make a Boo-tiful Bash!

8 Ways to make a Boo-tiful Halloween Bash | on TheCakeBlog.com

1.  Let’s start with some free party decor, shall we?  Like this adorable 3-D Halloween Bat Banner from Kim Byers of The Celebration Shoppe.  Did I mention it’s Free?!

2.  How about these ridiculously clever Halloween Snack Labels by Jessica Kirkland of Pen N Paper Flowers.  Franken-Furter!  And that spiderweb ketchup cup!  A hotdog has never looked so cute.

3.  Who doesn’t love seasonal chex mix?  Especially when it comes in an adorable Candy Corn Pot.  A spooky sweet favor idea by Mariah of Giggles Galore.

4.  This Monster Eye Cake could not be simpler to make — cookies and candy are the trick behind this treat.  Learn how to make it with this tutorial by Carrie Sellman for The Cake Blog.

5.  A simple pumpkin cupcake and free Halloween Cupcake Toppers?  That’s what I call two wins in one by Kori Clark!

6.  These black and white Trick-or-Treat Pillow Boxes are ready to be filled with a sweet surprise.  Snag the free download from Bird of Bird’s Party.

7.   A ghost and a mummy.  Oh my!  Learn how to make these darling Monster Pretzel Rods from Jillian of Catch My Party.

8.  These genius little Ghost Drink Stirrers turn any drink into a Halloween toast.  Learn how to make them from Chris Nease of Celebrations At Home.

You can also find additional projects and recipes in our Halloween Gallery.   Like this incredible 3D Pumpkin Cake that is sure to wow your guests!  Or this sticky Marshmallow Spider Web Cake that is super fun to make.  No, go get your spooky on!
