Salty, Crunchy, Sweet

Put these three flavors together and you’ve got a winner! At least in my book. That’s probably why I was intrigued by a recipe yesterday on The Martha Stewart Show. Two teens started their own toffee business as a way to save money for a class trip. Now their company, Brandini Toffee, has received the Martha stamp of approval. Looks like they achieved far more than just a trip to Italy! Their recipe includes only four ingredients: butter, sugar, chocolate and nuts. How simple! Try it out… it looks de-lish!

For those of you who love a great salty/crunchy/sweet treat, but don’t have 30 minutes to stir sugar… try out this super easy recipe instead! Rolo Pretzel Turtles from Steamy Kitchen. Yumm!

And finally for those of you who have no time to spend in the kitchen, just order up some toffee directly from the clever teens at Brandini Toffee. Let them do the stirring for you!
