Real Party: Bold & Bright 1st Birthday

We’re starting off the week with a smashing first birthday party! Today’s post is a real party submitted by one of my Dallas customers. For her son’s first birthday, she wanted bright and bold colors as opposed to a specific theme. I just love how she pulled it all together, not to mention that she made the hat and party banner herself! I must admit though… I’m not used to seeing my work in a million pieces! But I guess that’s why it’s called a ‘smash cake’, right?

Bold & Bright

More from Tiffany, the multi-talented mom and hostess:

Taylor’s first birthday was just all about him being 1. I just wanted specific colors (blue, green, yellow, and orange). I handmade his birthday sign and his birthday hat, which started a tradition with me – I hope to follow through with making something by hand for each birthday party. For his second birthday, I did another sign to go with is Choo Choo Taylor is 2 Birthday Party. It turned out very cute and it is something I can put in his treasure chest for him to have later on in life.

Thank you Tiffany for sharing Taylor’s party with us! If you have a fabulous party you’d like to share with our readers, click here for more information.
